Dear all,
We are pleased to inform you that the first meeting of SoilSpec4GG, a USDA-funded Food and Agriculture Cyberinformatics Tools Coordinated Innovation Network, is coming up in two weeks. This is an important stage as this project wants to be an asset to the soil spectroscopy community. Eventually, we will form a series of working groups to address topics including calibration transfer, model choice, outreach & demonstration, and use of spectroscopy to inform topics such as global carbon cycle modeling. To achieve this aim, we need your participation sharing your knowledge and experience and interactive discussion to learn more about what each of you would like to get out of being a part of this network.
You are cordially invited for the first meeting with two different time slots to hopefully accommodate all time zones.
Please RSVP at https://forms.gle/PmhfdFYA4beD79WK8
